I went out to play catch with the boys and had to laugh. If Norman can only see this puppy running laps around the old dog I know he would be laughing. Doc has no nose so if he doesn't follow it with sight Sully can get the toy, but if it just on speed Sully has no chance.
When your family lives so far apart you will do anything to feel closer. I hope the always changing supply of pictures will help. I only wish I had a computer when Autumn was little, because they do not stay little long.

End of the year Awards
Molly and I went to Autumn's awards program this morning. Once again Autumn is on the honor roll. Way to go! All year on the honor roll. We don't have the report cards yet since they have to go to school till Tue. Today was supposed to be the last day but we have a few make up weather days this year. I really need to sit closer since my zoom isn't great.
Autumn has been trying to get Molly to roll like the rest of us.

April 1st
So yes I know it's not the 1st , I have to work the 1st so I moved the weigh in up a day. Yes I'm actually putting pictures of me on the blog too. If you can't tell I cut my hair again also. Mom don't the say mimicking is the strongest form of flattery? And we say we don't want top be our mothers. Ha Ha!
I have also decided that I need to set my gaols slightly lower. I made it under 190 my goal for last month but not much further. I'm 186. I know that's 5 lbs and I should be happy. The problem is then I see pictures like this with my second chin. Ya!

Rally By the Rails
When we got home from Relay for life Autumn sees that Rally By the Rails is this weekend (I knew, I was trying to avoid it, TIRED). Autumn says mom the parade, thank you Papa Dick, she heard the drums inside the house! So we rushed down to the main street and watched the end of the parade and got too much candy like usual. We walk in the door from the parade and Autumn says I want to go to the rides. I was able to hold her off for about 3 hrs then guess where we went, the rides. Now has Autumn ever told you she doesn't like roller coasters?
And has she ever told you she is afraid of heights? (Dead center orange basket with a school friend.)
Outside orange one still.
We ran from ride to ride while Molly and I watched. I got her to take a break long enough for a corn dog then off we went again.
To this!!! Yes that is our non roller coaster afraid of heights little girl being sucked to the edge of a metal basket with all the High School kids. She is the pink shirt on the left. Hard picture to get.
Molly enjoyed the festival also. I was so jealous of the nap. Did I mention I was TIRED? Why is it that everything has to happen the same weekend. Oh ya, this was also the weekend that Pete and Don had to go teach in Cleveland at the OTOA conference. Ya! They had a great time and met a lot of important people. I'm glad they went but back to everything in one weekend. So mom when does the world stop flying by at mock speed?
Relay for Life
The girls and I went to the Relay for Life in Tiffen this weekend. Nicki, my friend/partner at work invited us to be part of her church's team. They had balloons you could purchase and release at the opening ceremony. The balloons represented people you know with cancer surviving or passed.
Then all the present take the 1st lap. Not that you can see her in this picture but Mary Lou, Nicki's mother is in that group. She is a breast cancer survivor! Way to go!
Sorry it's dark, long night. Here is a better picture of Mary Lou and most of her girls. Starting at the left Mary Lou, Jenny pushing her daughter Emily, and Nicki. Angie and her daughter were not able to make it. Iva, Nicki's daughter, Brice, Jenny's son, and Autumn are some were. I'm glad we had bright orange shirts.
Found one of them. We got to sleep in a tent that night. I swear I'm not getting old but sleeping on the ground it a tent proves that wrong.

The also had luminaries that you could purchase for cancer survivors and those who lost the battle. The ceremony was very touching after a few people talked about their battles with cancer they read ever name survivors first. When the name was called you lite their candle. They went all the way around the track.
Thanks Colby
Nature girl
Molly's new found love is daddy flying her. Daddy loves it too. We introduced Molly to grass the other day it was great she didn't mind it one bit. She really liked the flickering of the leaves over head. She watches that tree from inside the house all the time. She seemed to be in aw of being closer to it. then daddy flow her through the branches and she giggled. Now if the blog would behave and let me put the great pictures we got on the computer I wouldn't be pounding my head against the wall. I guess frustration is what you get for being free. I would pay for the blog if it would stop fighting with me. Oh well. Not being able to put all the good pictures on the blog gives me a reason to keep a photo album too.

GS Awards Ceremony
Autumn's Award Ceremony was on the 14 th. Pete worked part of my shift so that I could go and help had out awards. The problem with that was who takes pictures? I got it, hand the camera to a mom on the front row. Take lots of pictures please, what ever you want. Well as the ceremony is winding down she says I not sure I'm taking any pictures with this or not. Oh well I was impressed that I remembered the camera. Didn't I get a great group shot ya right.
Now the good news. Autumn got a star for another year completed, perfect attendance, highest cookie sales, booth sale patch, and 5 new try-its (a.k.a. badges). She also got a really cool tied-dyed t shirt that the troop got since the we averaged out over 155 boxes per girl. She is looking forward to CSI day camp this summer and her first over night camp, Water bugs. We found another girl to go with her to over night camp this time. Ya!!! I'm going to work at day camp as much as I can before my surgery. Yes I said surgery those that I have not told July 11 th I having my gallbladder out. Thanks to all the modern medicine in this world that still can not get rid of gall stones. Oh well. My mom will be coming up to help around the house. Watch out mom maybe you should bring your swap hat instead. Ha Ha. I know I'm very behind on the blog, but if it wouldn't fight with me so much when I have 2 min to blog it would help. I promise I will work on it more to come real soon.

Molly's 6 month check up
I know that shots are important but why do these little bitty things have to get 4 shot at a time. I also know she will not remember any of them the next day but I remember the scream. Just like I will always remember Autumn's screams. Now the good stuff:
