I hate Ice

This weather 60 on Sat and snow on Sunday followed be an ice storm all night. Of course Pete had to go into work so Mother Nature kept me up all night listening to the popping and cracking of branches. Than at 0300 this got my attention big time!!!
Can I say how lucky we are... The power line for the street runs through this tree right above the 3 break points... the other side of this tree is over our house... a mess yes but lucky!
3rd branch hasn't fallen yet.
Why couldn't it take the tree I don't like that isn't by power lines or my roof? We are all doing fie though. Pete even slide home from work fine.

Most Unique

Guess who got voted Most Unique 6th grader at Fassett Middle School!!! Example #1 why she won! She was very excited and proud but mad because they told her she won the day she got her picture taken for the year book and her outfit was "way to boring", that's my girl!!!

Snow Days

We had a lovely snow storm when my mother was in town visiting. Good thing Autumn got to stay home and hang with Grandma bad thing it was COLD and my mom has lost her Nebraska blood. Sorry mom you have!
It started Tue and went all day and all night...
This is what we had for the 1st round...
Since you can't see the ruler is at 10"
I had to go out the garage and come around to the front porch to shovel the door open!
Quinn stayed warm inside!!!
With mom's help I got Quinn's blanket done. She was a month old but it is done!
