School treats

Autumn hates cake but loves brownies so that was our B-day treat. We had left over cobweb napkins from her party so we followed the theme and put spider rings in the brownies.

Autumn's Birthday

I had to work on the 7th so Autumn got to open her presents a day early. Molly picked out a music card for her. We sent a lot of time in the card isle finding the right one,
It seemed to go over well Molly.

Autumn should have been born in the 80s, she loves fingerless glove and leg warmers. Wow what a flash to the past.

Mo likes anything Autumn likes!

I made her hunt for her big gift. I had to, how would yo wrap a skate board?

Mo thinks it's time to break in Autumn's new ball. We have had the hoop since we moved, Autumn got the a ball for her Birthday, now Aunt Laura needs to come teach us how to play.

MaQueen's Apple Orchard

We have been trying to get out to McQueen's Apple Orchard since they opened the season so we finally made it. The same weekend as their festival (yuck bad idea remember that for next year). We had a great time and got LOTS of apples.

Molly enjoy the ride now the wagon is for the apples.

When Lori dropped off Lauren on Sat for Autumn's party we both mention we planned on going to McQueen's tomorrow. Small world I promise we didn't plan it but how funny. So, we did make sure to hook up and pick together.

The low apples were all gone so the dads became ladders.

They will feel this tomorrow!

Lori's dad couldn't be shown up by those young kids. Can we say heating pad tonight?

Dad found Molly some short ones.

Molly found most of them while running around. Can you say ER visit? Don't worry grandparents we made it through without breaking anything.

Great shot!!!

Molly treated the Apple Orchard the same as Meijers, a buffet. She would eat about half the skin off one apple and instead of turning the apple to the other side she would drop that one and get a new one. We kept her away from the drops but it was a lot of working keeping her out of the bags.

Great shot too! Mom isn't the outfit cute? I told you it matched enough.

The section of green apples we found ladders. The dads and grandpa rejoiced.

Don't be tired yet we still got to get back to the car. The worst part of being the festival day.

Can you see are car? No???

How about now. can you see the Orchard? No??? See why I said what not to do next year. What a great time it was though. And if you need apple sauce we have a bit!

Autumn's 10th B-day Party

We had Autumn's B-day Party on Saturday. She had Lauren and Brooke (Carissa couldn't make it last minute) over for a Pirate themed party. They got pieces to the treasure map that they had to put together to search for the "Holy Grehl". None of the kids got it but I thought it was funny.
We went out to dinner Autumn chose China One (our buffet Chinese food place we love). I asked the other parents do your kids eat Chinese? No, was the answer from both but they both did well. They tried stuff even chop sticks. Autumn has been working with them, she is better than I am!

Molly stole mine because she wanted to try. Has to be one of the big kids!!!

Mine are broke, help daddy.

When we got back we decorated boxes that looked like books that Autumn picked out for gifts. What a crafty group all I said was have fun and ask for help with the glue gun.

The best way to wash off craft paint is the hot tub of course. Molly had to be a big kid again. All the girls were so good with her.

Then "cake" time. Autumn doesn't like cake so we used brownies to make the volcano cake. It worked well but we needed 10 more people to help eat it.

At least it wasn't a sparkler.

Than the last piece of the map the X. Go get it girls.

Time to separate the loot.

Next morning, look they are up and moving they must have gotten some sleep. What a good time we had!

One silly kid

Molly got a balloon at the restaurant the other day. The balloon did a great job of holding the string so Molly could play with it. She had so much fun twisting herself up in the string.

We had fun watching her fall on her butt.

Up date on Group Therapy

The group Therapy Quilt Guild has gotten 2 quilts done and is close to the 3rd. I'm not sure how to get the picture on the Guild site but I have learned this whole blog thing, Shawn I will leave that to your computer knowledge. This quilt is going to Project Linus for critically ill children in the Hospitals.

This quilt is going to one of the quilt shops in town that is collecting quilts for the troops when they come home.

I don't think we are doing to bad. We are going to take a break till 09 before starting another new quilt. With Birthdays, weddings, and Christmas coming we all have to many of our own projects going. When the Victory Junction Quilt gets done I up date this again. It might be a while since the soon to be newly weds are piecing that quilt. They say they are busy I don't know what they are talking about. Ha Ha Ha.

Colleen and Dan's shower

Colleen and Dan invited the girls and I out to Colleen's mom's house in Cleveland for a wedding shower. Sorry Pete you missed the fun (and good food). It was so pretty. I wish I had tons more pictures but I forgot my good camera, Nic forgot her camera, and my back up in my purse turns it;s self on and I had very little battery.
Colleen is in the center, Nic to the left, school friend to the right , and sisters.

Molly was thank full that Colleen's mom supplied the backyard with plenty of toys to play with. Autumn was thank full for the 1/2 dozen girls her age to play with. I don't think I saw her the whole time we were there and leaving was tough.

Mo even found a friend and a yard like this screams soccer game. We had a wonderful time. Thank you for inviting us.
