My family and Friends

To my family and friends that visit this blog, I'm sorry. I hope that I was able to pull all offensive comments from the blog before anyone else had to read them. I hate to say it, but someone has decided to use the the blog to personally harass Pete and I. I will be contacting the blog site to attempt to put an end to this. In the mean time I have to pull those posts and block all future comments being published without my approval. I would like to know who has made the comments but they haven't had the courage to sign anything. I'm sorry I have to block the comments, I love to see the comments that count and will publish them asap. I hope this will allow my friends and family to enjoy the pictures of my family while guarding you from any future harassment. I also removed all links to other blogs as a way to protect you also. I would hate for them to harass anyone else as a way to get to me or Pete. I feel pity on a person that lives such an unhappy life. I can't imagine being that angry that I would attempt to destroy everything good around them. Once again I'm so sorry to my friends and family that this caught in the middle. I love you all too much to do this to you. Kari Grehl

Easter / Quilting Party

We had the gang over the other day. It was a late Easter party and our quilters group meeting. Nicki, Shawn, Julie, Colleen, Dan and I have started a quilt group. It is a little of the blind leading the blind but we are having fun! Nicki started it and gave us the very appreciate name of Group Therapy Quilters Guild. Ha Ha Ha. Great job Nicki. This was the 2nd meeting. Since it was close we through in Easter for the kids too. Like all parties it included too much food. Thanks for everyone pot-luck dishes it was all great. Colleen, Autumn wants the recipe.

Eat up.

Sit please Mo, we are still eating.

A great after dinner activity is wrestling. Not. Poor Dan he is the new boy added to to group so the kids must break him in right.

Just don't actually break him.

Present time. All the kids traded name this time and had one kid they were in charge of. I think it went well.

Easter / Quilting Party cont.

What Easter party is complete without an egg hunt. We let Molly get a head start. She could figure out how to pick up 3 eggs but wouldn't put them down to get more. She was having fun. The jelly beans made a great rattle.
Time for the big kids. Or your mark, get set, watch out for Mo, and go.

Yes between all the fun we did get some sewing done. We started this quilt last meeting we are going to donate it to Project Linus. It is all different 9 patches. Our next one has stars so wish us luck!

Papa and Grandma's House

Every time we have been to Papa and Grandma's house, the rocks as the biggest hit. The girls helped Grandma plant some flowers.

And Molly "helped" pick some.

Papa took the girls to the sand pile, the question is did Papa leave any sand there?

Music Time

What? Grandma said I could play with papa's toys.

The big girls joined in too.

Molly got the horn to work breathing in and out. Very funny!

Dalonega

We had a nice day trip to Dalonega and the falls. Dalonega is an old mining town in the foothills of the Applacian mountains. We had lunch at an old ice cream parlor but saved room for desert at the fudge factory next door.
Molly loves pickles!

Amicalola Falls

The tallest waterfall in Georgia is the Amicalola Falls. I wish it was later in the season because sticks are not nearly as pretty as leaves and flowers, but still amazing.

So I'm taking bets... Who will go in the drink first. The odds are on papa.

Closer...

Closer...

Dad really that is very cold water.

See the big kids are behaving without papa's influence.

So it's a good sign that we are over 1/2 way done with vacation and most of us are smiling.
