Look At What We Did.

Yes, I promise that Pete and I will get our heads examined as soon as we get time, but tell me you couldn't rescue this cutie from a dumpster. Meet Doc!

The vet says Doc is a lab or lab mix and roughly 5 wk old. He also looks healthy and the whole office fell in love with him. Pete, I'm sure, was the center of attention at the office with a puppy and a baby. What a good test subject what do women like more? Ha Ha Ha

Doc has decided that Molly is part of his pack.

(Oops sorry forgot to flip it still cute though.) This is were Doc likes to sleep and it's fine as long as he remembers to duck.

Sully is doing great (this is MY soccer ball). He gets a little excited but not bad.

He even shares his toys with Doc.

And his water bowl. What you can't quite see that Doc's head is soaked from Sully drooling on him from above.

The tug a war games are the best. I keep expecting Doc to go flying in the air but he lets go just as his leg leave the ground. Please keep us in your thoughts as we slowly loose our minds.

Learning

Molly and I have learned something new this week. Molly learned that those things that taste good (hands / fingers) can do something. It is so much fun to watch the learning process of infants. Molly is doing really good at grabbing and pulling things toward herself.

I have learned that with my lazy version of typing I have been yelling at everyone. Sorry. I have always typed in caps so I don't forget to hit shift when needed. I guess it is time to learn. Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

NEW TOYS

WE HAVE BEEN SPENDING JANUARY PLAYING WITH OUR NEW TOYS. WITH ALL THE KICKING AND SWINGING MOLLY DOES TO BAD THE BLANKET ISN'T WATER MAYBE SHE WOULD BE ABLE TO GET HER TOYS.
LEGS ARE NEW FUN TOO.

I'M NOT SURE WHAT SHE WILL DO WHEN SHE GETS THEM BUT SHE SURE TRIES HARD.

AUTUMN IS GETTING REAL GOOD AT HER LOOM. A RAINBOW SCARF IS HER FIRST PROJECT.

SULLY HAS EVEN BEEN HAVING FUN WITH HIS NEW X-MAS GIFT WHEN HE DRAGS IT UP FROM THE BASEMENT (BEFORE I TAKE IT BACK DOWN).

THE BEST NEW TOY IS OUR 2007 HONDA CR-V. WE TRADED IN THE OIL LEAKING MONSTER, THE STRATUS AND GOT A NEW CAR!

POOR PETE HE TRADES IN HIS CAR FOR A NEW SUV AND SOME HOW WINDS UP DRIVING THE MINI VAN. BEING THE PROTECTIVE HUSBAND / FATHER HE IS HE WANTED HIS GIRLS IN THE NEW CAR. ONE OF THESE DAYS I WILL TALK HIM INTO SOMETHING NEW FOR HIMSELF.

X-MAS WITH THE GANG

NICKI AND MATT HOSTED THE GANG X-MAS PARTY AGAIN THIS YEAR. IT WAS WONDERFULL, LIKE ALWAYS WAY TOO MUCH GOOD FOOD AND GREAT COMPANY. PETE AND MOLLY HAD TO GO BY THEMSELVES (MY SHIFT AND AUTUMN'S WEEKEND WITH DAD) BUT MY PARTNER DANA AND I GOT TO STOP BY AND FEED OUR FACES BEFORE WE HAD TO HEAD ON A RUN.

AS YOU SEE MOLLY WAS A HIT LIKE ALWAYS. I GUESS SO WERE MY HATS AND SCARFS. I FOUND A NEW PATERN TO USE UP LOTS OF COLORS BUT I STILL HAVE A TON OF YARN LEFT. ANY REQUESTS?

THE KIDS ARE GETTING SO BIG WE HAVE (LEFT TO RIGHT) JOSIE, ALEX, MIKEY, GABI, IVA, AND MOLLY IN THE BACKGROUND WITH DADS HELP. 3 - 2ND GRADERS, 1 - 6TH GRADER, AND A 1ST GRADER. WOW TIME FLIES AND MAKES YOU FEEL OLD.
